A small plane tragically crashed into a busy furniture factory in Southern California, leaving two people dead and 18 injured.

The factory, crowded with more than 200 workers, was struck just two minutes after the plane departed from Fullerton Municipal Airport in Orange County.

Authorities are working to determine whether the fatalities occurred on the plane or on the ground, according to a spokesperson for the Fullerton Police Department.

Chilling CCTV footage shows the single-engine Van’s RV-10, a four-seater aircraft, sharply banking to one side before crashing into the building.

The collision triggered a massive explosion, sending a towering plume of black smoke billowing into the sky.

Emergency crews reported that 10 of the injured were hospitalized, while eight were treated at the scene and later released.

The crash has left the community reeling as investigators strive to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
